Get ready to feel a little country, Hamilton, because Canadian Country Music Week is coming to town.
On Monday, Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) President Tracy Martin announced that Country Music Week will be taking place from September 6th to 9th in Hamilton.

There are three main components to Canadian Country Music Week.
The first part consists of a music festival. Festival goers can count on seeing talent showcases, attending the Legends Show, and finishing off with a cabaret party.
Second, there’s an industry conference. The conference includes educational workshops, seminars, networking, and more.
The third and most exciting aspect of Country Music Week is the CCMA Awards. The live award ceremony is two hours long and celebrates the past year in country music. This year’s award show is hosted by country legend and Ontario’s own Shania Twain.
