Burlington-based company begins producing non-alcohol vegan hand sanitizers

Hunter Amenities announced a new line of effective alternatives to alcohol-based hand sanitizers called EcoLogical Care.

The Burlington-based company developed the idea for non-alcohol, paraben free, vegan hand sanitizers after they noticed consumers were complaining about dry hands and the smell of alcohol-based sanitizers.

Produced in Canada, the new line is non-irritant, hypo-allergenic, and tested under dermatological control.

In a statement released by Hunter Amenities, the company said that they performed a study on their new line of hand sanitizers and found that it kills 99.99% of germs, making it comparable to alcohol-based products.

Manufacturing hand sanitizers is a pivot for the company who usually produces consumer goods for the hospitality, airline, cruise line, and retail industries.

“Hand sanitizer is new territory for Hunter Amenities but developing thoughtful products isn’t,” said company President John Hunter.

“It’s that attention to detail which has enabled Hunter to become a key partner for four, five and six-star hospitality corporations, boutique hotels, spas and cruise lines for more than 39 years.”

The company has secured the sale of their EcoLogical Care hand sanitizers in most major Canadian retailers.

Hunter Amenities is one of Canada’s top 50 companies. They have been around for over 30 years with offices and manufacturing plants in four different countries.
