You can now hear local musicians in some Burlington parks

Since live music has taken a hit during the pandemic, those at Sound of Music Festival and the City of Burlington are now trying to make that experience more accessible to locals.

Select parks in Burlington now have a code at certain locations that links to a digital performance by a local musician.

Visitors to the parks can either listen to the music while walking around or capture the code to enjoy later.

Parks that have access codes include Burloak Park, City View Park, The Waterfront Trail at Spencer Smith Park and Beachway Park, and Norton Park.

Videos of the local musicians were coordinated and produced by Sound of Music.

The Burlington Music Walk is on now until September 6th.
