Burlington restaurant uses pickles instead of bread for its sandwiches

Sandwiches usually consist of a bunch of ingredients stacked between two pieces of bread. However, at Dill Pickle Wraps in Burlington, they are doing things a little differently.

The restaurant has brought the dill pickle sandwich craze to Ontario with select menu items using large pickles instead of bread or a bun.

Dill Pickle Wraps opened in downtown Burlington in late 2019 and offers ten different sandwiches with pickles rather than bread.

Some pickle menu items include a spicy option that has turkey, American cheese, and sriracha mayo; a salmon sandwich with cream cheese, capers, and onions; and one with chicken, tomatoes, and bacon.

Most menu items are reasonably priced at under $10. Dill Pickle Wraps also offers a bunch of meals that are not pickle sandwiches.

Pickle sandwiches aren’t a new trend and are included in many diet programs that look to reduce carbs and grains completely.
