Hamilton Police locate missing child

Early Friday morning, Hamilton police indicated that they had located missing 12-year-old McKayla Rishaur. She returned home safe and sound Friday morning shortly before 8 am.

Rishaur was reported missing on Thursday November 7 after she didn’t show up at school. She had last been seen at home the night before, and had been heard getting ready for school in the morning between 6 and 8 am. Prior to the incident, Rishaur had no history of going missing.

Hamilton Police thanked the public for their concern over the child and their efforts to help locate her. A number of residents expressed relief that the case had been resolved quickly and positively.
