It might be wise to stop dreaming of a white Christmas this year, Hamilton: the weather forecast for this week is predicting some unseasonably warm temperatures and a notable lack of fluffy white snow on the ground.
In the forthcoming weekly forecast issued by Environment Canada, temperatures over the Christmas holidays will generally hover between 4 and 8 degrees Celsius, with a pretty consistent mix of sun and cloud and pretty much no real precipitation, rain or snow, to speak of.

That said, the forecast indicates thatsome belated snowfall might dust Hamilton overnight on Boxing Day evening, December 26th. If that does happen, however, the accumulation will likely be negligible at best.
So, while many Hamiltonians may be disappointed by an expected green Christmas, the weather forecast does have some clear upsides: the mild temperatures and weather mean that those Christmas commutes to your relatives’ houses will pretty much be a breeze, as far as driving conditions go!
