An employee at a FreshCo location on the Hamilton Mountain was found to test positive for COVID-19.
The positive employee, who works at the FreshCo at the corner of Upper Gage and Fennell, has not worked in the store since May 25th and is now self-isolating at home. The location has also undergone thorough cleaning and sanitation, and remains open to the public.

The one positive case was documented on May 30th by an online tracker created by Sobeys Inc., FreshCo’s parent company.
The tracker is a tool Sobeys initiated in the interest of public transparency, and has been tracking positive cases at all Sobeys and FreshCo locations across the country.
As of now, no other confirmed cases have been found among staff at this Hamilton Mountain FreshCo location.
