Hamilton Mountain Farmers’ Market is reopening next week

Better late than never, right? As COVID-19 restrictions begin to relax in the city, the Hamilton Mountain Farmers’ Market has announced that it will finally be opening its outdoor market off of Concession Street as of July 25th.

The Hamilton Mountain Farmers’ Market, which typically pops up every Saturday morning from 8 am to 12 pm in the parking lot at Sacred Heart Catholic Church by Mountain Park Avenue, is one of the Mountain’s prime places to get farm-fresh produce, from fruits to corn to potatoes and beyond.

Entering its 13th official year following a late start, the market’s return will, naturally, come with numerous safety protocols in place amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Foot traffic will be controlled and limited to avoid overcrowding and allow for proper physical distancing. Additionally, shoppers are asked to wear a mask or face covering while visiting the market.

To kickstart this season of the market, two local vendors will be on hand selling their stuff, with the potential for more farmers to join in on the action as the season continues.

The Hamilton Mountain Farmers’ Market will take place every Saturday morning from 8 am to 12 pm between July 25th and the beginning of November.
