Alternative spa & tattoo parlour Vagabond Saints has reopened in a new location

One of Hamilton’s favourite independent tattoo shops has just relocated to a brand new – and much larger – space in the heart of the city on John Street North.

That shop is Vagabond Saints: a tattoo lounge, alternative spa, and mental health safe space which has now left behind its digs on Spring Street in Hamilton’s International Village to move into the space that, until recently, housed Toast Wine Bar.

Vagabond Saints originally opened its doors under the ownership of Jim and Tonja Watts in 2016, where it started out selling locally-made products and artwork as it finalized its plans to become a tattoo parlour.

Four years and multiple spaces later, the tattoo parlour has finally landed in its dream home in the Downtown Hamilton BIA; one that allows Vagabond Saints to expand its operations and staffing.

Now, with so much more space to work with in the 10 John Street North location, Vagabond Saints currently employs 6 tattoo artists, a nail technician, and an aesthetician for pedicures, manicures, waxing, and more.

On top of that, Vagabond Saints has now become a retail shop for craft beer, wine, and cider to-go, selling adult beverages from spots like Red Circle Brewing in Waterloo, Organized Crime Winery in Beamsville, and Carlisle Cider in, well, Carlisle.

Eventually, with a bar already in place, the plan is to also be able to serve alcoholic beverages from these spots in-house as part of the lounge experience at this awesome new addition to the downtown core!
