Hamilton co-working space CoMotion marks their 5-year anniversary

One of Hamilton’s premier co-working spaces – one home to numerous local businesses and start-ups – is celebrating a major milestone as it commemorates 5 years of operation in the city.
CoMotion, located right in the heart of Downtown Hamilton, has been one of the city’s biggest hubs and supporters for new local businesses, entrepreneurship, and innovation since 2015.
“We honestly can’t be more thrilled to still be here, still be a part of this community, and still be supporting small and medium sized businesses in our community,” said CoMotion in a post on their website.
“The average lifespan of any start-up is a nail-biting 20 months, here we are at 60 months, and with a wonderful network of friends, colleagues, neighbours, and CoMotion alumni who have not just made their own way, but continue to thrive as well.”
In order to celebrate their significant 5-year milestone in Hamilton, CoMotion has announced a number of cool promotions for any local entrepreneurs, small businesses, or start-ups who may want to start a membership.
The first is what they call Five Months at Five-Hundred, for which CoMotion will be offering access to their co-working office facilities at unconditional $500 a month for 5 months. Available until the end of 2020, local businesses can take advantage of this offer for any regular-sized office space, no matter when they sign up!
Next is a classic CoMotion standard: the co-working space is also offering the first month free for new memberships when signing up for a 12-month lease!
But the most exciting new offering is a special $35-per-month rate for access to a number of bookable offices for use by new start-ups; an initiative meant to help those who are pivoting their businesses amid the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“2020 has been hard, and we feel blessed and immensely supported to have made it not only through the year, but through five years,” says CoMotion. “We thank you so much for the love and support over the years, and hope these offers can make 2020 a little easier for you.”
