Hamilton’s Collective Arts Brewing is opening a brewery and taproom in Toronto

Collective Arts Brewing is one of Hamilton’s proudest success stories.

An independent craft brewery with humble origins, Collective Arts has rapidly expanded in its relatively short life to offer a steady stream of new beers out of their massive facility in North Hamilton, branch out into distilling, land their products on international shelves, and host some of the biggest beer and music events in Ontario.

Now, that success is taking Collective Arts to the big city of Toronto, where they are poised to open a brand new brewery space and taproom this Fall at 777 Dundas Street West; a space that has already been decked out in gorgeous mural art by visual artist Ola Volo.

“We’ve always seen Toronto as our second home and we’re thrilled to make it official,” said Collective Arts in an announcement on social media.

“We’re opening a new brewery and taproom in Trinity Bellwoods where we’ll make experimental small-batch beers and work with the vibrant local arts community.”

The news is exciting both for Torontonians, who will now have hands-on access to some of Hamilton’s best craft beer; and for Hamiltonians, who will no doubt be proud to see this scrappy local brand gain even further presence outside the city’s borders.
