Ontario public health defines an outbreak as “two of more laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases with an epidemiological link in the workplace … within a 14-day period where both cases could have reasonably acquired their infection in the workplace.”
Other active outbreaks in Hamilton include the now-famous one at SpinCo Hamilton, which has climbed to around 80 primary and secondary cases; and at Radius Restaurant, an outbreak which is connected to the one at SpinCo and currently has 6 staff members who have tested positive.
