Hamilton Farmers’ Market will be closed through most of January

Better stock up on your foodie favourites in advance, because the Hamilton Farmers’ Market is set to be completely closed for a few consecutive weeks in January.

According to an announcement on social media, the market will be temporarily closing beginning on Tuesday, January 5th and reopening as of 9 am on Thursday, January 21st.

The closure is intended to allow to market to complete some significant upgrades to their ventilation system, providing new temperature stability to the market as well as the installation of air curtains above the York Boulevard entrance doors.

This means all of the vendors in the Hamilton Farmers’ Market will be shuttering for just under two weeks; but after we all fill up with indulgences over the holidays, we’ll all still be pretty full through January anyway, right?
