Hamilton night club offering COVID-19 gear to stay afloat

Zen Lounge, a mature, Asian-inspired nightlife hotspot, had only just opened in the later months of 2019 before business was halted with the rest of the world in March of 2020.

Located on John Street, the lounge quickly took off to a great start with Hamilton’s young adult party goers. The carefully curated space was a beautiful backdrop for an evening outing.

Like other businesses, they have had to adapt their model for the time-being until the global pandemic is no longer a threat. Few industries were hit harder than night life, especially since those experiences depend on large in-person gatherings which cannot be sold through a delivery app, for instance.

Even though Zen took advantage of being able to supply alcohol for take-out orders as soon as they could, it has still not been enough. So in addition to offering at home drink packages, Zen is now selling commemorative COVID-19 clothing to help keep them afloat.

Their custom designed t-shirts and hooded sweatshirts encapsulate the 2020 struggle using typography within Zen’s signature Buddah logo. There are limited quantities of the $30 shirts and $60 sweatshirts, with free delivery across Ontario.

Night clubs need your help more than ever before so please consider picking up some gear.
