Hamilton residents ages 18+ in hotspots can now book a COVID-19 vaccine

Coinciding with news of a large and steady influx of vaccine doses, Hamilton residents ages 18 and up who live in one of 5 designated hotspots are now able to book their COVID-19 vaccine.

As of 8 am Monday morning, eligible Hamilton residents living in the postal codes L8W, L9C, L8L, L8N, and L9K and can book an appointment to receive a vaccine at one of the city’s large-scale clinics or mobile pop-up clinics.

However, the means of booking may vary depending on which hotspot postal code you reside in.

If you are living in L8W and L9C, you are able to book your appointment via Ontario’s online booking portal.

If you are living in L8L, L8N, or L9K, you can only book your appointment through Hamilton’s COVID-19 hotline, which is open today from 8 am to 8 pm, by calling 905-974-9848, option 7.

The city has warned that the call centre is experiencing a high call volume, and asks residents to be patient while trying to book and to keep trying the line if they can’t get through.
