Hamilton’s ongoing COVID-19 vaccination efforts have expanded further to include even more groups who are now eligible to book appointments.
As of today – Thursday, May 6th – individuals who are 50 years of age or older citywide, individuals with high-risk health conditions, and those in Group One who people who cannot work from home are able to book a vaccine.

The high-risk health conditions include individuals with a body mass index (BMI) greater than 40; individuals receiving treatments that cause immunosuppression including chemotherapy or immunity-weakening medications; those with developmental disabilities; and one essential caregiver for individuals with conditions in this category.
Group One of people who cannot work from home includes the following categories:
Eligible residents can book their COVID-19 vaccine appointments via the province’s online booking portal, or through the Public Health hotline at 905-974-9848, option 7.
