Heads up, Hamilton motorists: portions of the Lincoln M. Alexander Parkway are set to be closed in both directions for three days, beginning on Friday, May 14th.
The closures will be situated on the Linc’s eastbound roadways from Golf Links Road to the Upper Red Hill Valley Parkway offramp, and the westbound roadways from the Red Hill Valley Parkway to Mohawk Road.
In order to complete maintenance on the Lincoln M. Alexander Parkway, the City of Hamilton will be closing the #LINC in the eastbound and westbound direction for three days beginning on Friday, May 14.

While maintenance work is underway on the westbound roadways, access to the Highway 403 onramps and the Rousseaux Street offramp will be reduced down to one lane, and access will be available via the Golf Links Road onramps.
The closures are to accommodate maintenance to the Lincoln Alexander Parkway including spot resurfacing and asphalt repairs, bridge and signage repairs, pavement markings, ditching, and clearing of the catch basins.
Weather permitting, work is scheduled for the eastbound roadways starting May 14th at 1 am and ending May 17th at 5 am. For the westbound roadways, the work starts May 14th at 10 am, ending May 17th at 5 am.
Updates on the maintenance, including potential scheduling changes due to weather, will be provided via the city website.
