A new vintage clothing store is opening its doors in Hamilton

Lovers of a great vintage finds are going to flip for a brand new store opening in Hamilton this weekend.

Snafu Studios is preparing to open its doors at 197 James Street North this coming weekend on Saturday, June 19th, bringing a unique set of vintage and designer clothing to the James North strip right beside the iconic Mulberry Coffee House.

What makes Snafu Studios unique compared to other local vintage shops is the focus on styles from the 90s and the early Y2K era, according to the shop’s owner, Jon Jackson.

Jackson recently moved back to Hamilton after living in Florida for 10 years and immediately got to work setting up shop in hopes of responding to the current trends in vintage clothing and making “we filter, you find” his shop’s mantra.

“Style in 2021 and beyond is all about mixing it up,” he says. “Anything goes in today’s world and you are starting to see that in the streets. I wanted to create an environment where you will find a 90s Metallica tee right next to a Chanel purse.”

The store officially opens to the public this weekend, and Snafu Studios has already launched an online store where you can check out their inventory, which is currently loaded with all kinds of pre-loved graphic tees, iconic clothing styles from 90s fashion, and much more.

Snafu Studio’s brick & mortar launch on Saturday comes with over 1,000 items in store, and the first 50 customers to pop in will receive a free gift with their purchase.

Go check out this exciting new vintage shop on James North when they fling open their doors this Saturday, June 19th at 11 am!
