One of Ontario’s premiere theme parks has announced that it will be slinging funnel cakes and restarting its rollercoasters again this year.
Canada’s Wonderland announced that the park will reopen on July 7th, 2021 after being closed for over a year.

In a statement released by the theme park earlier this week, Canada’s Wonderland said that their restart aligns with Step 2 of the province’s reopening plan, which is set to being in about three weeks.
Wonderland will reopen at limited capacity on July 5th and 6th for their “season passholder preview” where some visitors can explore the park and preview new attractions such as Mountain Bay Cliffs and the Beagle Brigade Airfield.
In order to manage crowds, the theme park is introducing a new online reservation service that requires visitors to pre-book their date and time of arrival.
Temperature checks and health screening will be required by all visitors before entering the park. As well, all people over the age of two will be required to wear a mask.
Lines for rides and other attractions will be set-up to help control physical distancing and capacity management will be monitored throughout the park.
The onsite water park, Splash Works, will reopen on July 12th.
