At long last, a highly anticipated new bar in Hamilton is opening its doors; and it looks like a total hole-in-one.
The bar is called The Argyle, which is located in the Crown Point neighbourhood and leans heavily into its golf theme; it even features indoor golf simulators so locals can practise their swing while they sip.

Hamilton residents have been teased for months on social media with The Argyle sharing photos of their progress on the stunning interior, which is designed to look just like a classically classy, lived-in golf and country club.
Though The Argyle’s gorgeous interior will naturally remain closed for now amid the pandemic, they’re nonetheless getting the ball rolling by opening up their patio officially this coming weekend and introducing themselves to the local community.
Beginning this Friday, June 18th, their patio will be accepting visitors for walk-in only to grab a drink and kick back. Food will not be served, so people are encouraged to bring takeout to enjoy while they visit.
Of course, all of the usual physical distancing and COVID-19 protocols will be observed: masks must be worn unless seated (and when talking to a server), with a maximum of four people per table.
Go check out The Argyle this coming Friday at 304 Ottawa Street North!
