This street in Hamilton was voted one of the worst roads in Ontario

After CAA opened the voting for the province’s worst roads, Hamilton residents were vocal in their thoughts of the most treacherous drives in the city.

Now, CAA has released their final top 10 worst roads in Ontario and only one of Hamilton’s most busted streets made the list.

Barton Street East In Hamilton made it to number three on the final rankings, although there were several contenders.

The number one slot went to Victoria Road in Prince Edward County. Also, two Toronto roads made the cut including Eglinton Avenue East and Eglinton Avenue West.

Hamilton also had its own regional section where the top five roads in the area were listed.

Barton Street East was still at the top of the list. Burlington Street East, Aberdeen Avenue, Main Street West, Main Street East, and Osler Drive rounded out the top five.

There were no roads in the surrounding areas such as Burlington or Brantford included in either the top 10 or regional top 5 lists.

Each year, CAA opens up public voting to try to find the worst roads based on quality of infrastructure.
