A new record shop has opened on Barton Street in Hamilton

Music lovers and vinyl heads of Hamilton now have a brand new haunt to check out for some exciting finds.

A new record shop called It’s Alright, Ma – likely a reference to the Bob Dylan cut of the same title – opened as part of Barton Village just last month.

The inviting shop with its eye-catching storefront facade carries both new and used LPs, with a particular focus on offerings from the rock, indie, soul, jazz, punk, metal, and country genres.

A peek at their Instagram page gives just a taste of what vinyl collectors can expect out of It’s Alright, Ma, with albums in stock ranging from Lucinda Williams to Primal Scream to Lipstick Killers to The Replacements and well beyond.

Familiar classics mixed with obscure rarities, there looks to be plenty to sift through at It’s Alright, Ma, so go check them out at 312 Barton Street East to browse for yourself.

Follow them on social media for more.
