Hamilton Public Library offers free printing and lamination for vaccine receipts

With Ontario’s proof of vaccination mandate officially going into effect this week in select non-essential settings, some Hamiltonians may be wondering where and how to get their hands on their vaccine receipts.

Thankfully, the Hamilton Public Library (HPL) has gone out of their way to help make the process a little easier.

By visiting any HPL branch in the city, not only can fully vaccinated residents print their vaccine receipts with the guidance of a new Vaccine Certificate Printing icon on all HPL computers, but they can also get their receipts laminated for free on site with the help of HPL staff.

The library launched this service on September 21st, making it available free of charge to all Hamilton residents who bring along a green Ontario health card; not just those who are HPL card holders.

This proof of vaccination is now mandatory in Ontario to access certain non-essential settings including indoor dining, indoor fitness centres, indoor sports venues, cinemas, live theatre, concert venues, casinos, nightclubs, and more.

Visit the HPL website to learn more, and read more about Ontario’s proof of vaccination policy here.
