Baby clothing shop Piper’s Closet has opened on James North

Heads up to Hamiltonians with young ones in their lives: a new clothing store has opened on James North that puts its focus on thoughtfully curated baby clothing.

Established in August 2020, Piper’s Closet was dreamed up by Mikaela Woods, who named the shop after her own child, Piper, who went viral on TikTok for videos of her picking out her own outfits at the age of 6 months.

Piper’s own trendy wardrobe inspired Woods to start Piper’s Closet, running the clothing business initially out of their home garage and, now, out of a cozy storefront at 133 James Street North; the former home of Bichette, which has since moved to a new location on the same street.

The James North boutique celebrated its grand opening at the beginning of October and has readily been embraced by the Hamilton community for its stylish, simple line of clothing with options suitable for both younger babies and older babies.

On top of the clothing, Piper’s Closet also features some select décor and nursery items, as well as a handful of items meant for parents including hats, jewellery, and other accessories.

Piper’s Closet looks to be a fitting new fixture of the James North strip, so go check ‘em out and grab some stuff for the little ones in your life!

Follow the shop on social media for more.
