If James North’s monthly Art Crawl is your name, a similar event with a literary twist is happening in Hamilton this evening that may be right up your alley.
Hamilton’s first-ever Book Crawl will take place tonight – Friday, October 15th – from 7 pm to 9 pm all along Ottawa Street North’s shopping district between Barton Street and Main Street.
What's that? 😯
An IN-PERSON EVENT??? 😱🤩
You heard right! For the first time since 2019 we're tabling in public on Friday at Hamilton's inaugural Book Crawl. If you're in the area, stop by: we're new to the city and would love to say hi!https://t.co/j7KjPuLPpF

Similar to the structure of Art Crawl, the evening will feature Hamilton-based authors working in a multitude of literary genres who will be stationed at tables lining the Ottawa Street strip.
Locals who pop by the free street event will be able to meet some exciting local writers, learn more about their work, and purchased copies of their published books; and hey, if you ask nicely, you may even get a signed copy!
The event sounds like a great way to expand the fun of an Art Crawl-style event to another burgeoning segment of the city, encouraging residents to pop by and explore all of what Ottawa Street North has to offer while engaging with the city’s local authors.
Hamilton’s Book Crawl kicks off from 7 pm to 9 pm tonight along Ottawa Street North!
