This handmade holiday market is happening in Hamilton

The holiday season is upon us, which means that holiday markets are also back full swing.

After almost two years of hosting virtual markets, the massive holiday market Craftadian is making an in-person comeback in Hamilton, bringing along almost 100 makers, artists, and artisans under one roof from Hamilton, Niagara, Toronto, and beyond.

Locals can expect an overwhelming variety of handmade goods by Canadian makers that make for perfect gifts as the holiday season approaches, with everything from candles to food items to skin care products to art pieces to clothing to jewellery and everything in between.

Some familiar local brands that will be at this year’s Craftadian market include Escarpment Kombucha with their small-batch fermented teas, Mind Your Bees and their line of eco-friendly beeswax food wraps, and Steel City Sauce Co. bringing the heat with their handmade hot sauces.

Other beloved Canadian makers will also be on hand, including Kinsip Distillery out in Prince Edward County bringing along their decadent whiskey barrel-aged maple syrup, Sadelmager Design House in Alliston with handmade leather goods, and Toronto’s Munday Body Care with handmade soaps and body products.

But that’s barely the tip of the iceberg at a market that’s bound to have something for pretty much anymore. Craftadian returns to Hamilton at McMaster Innovation Park on December 4th and 5th from 10 am to 5 pm, with different vendors on site each day.

Tickets are $5 and must be purchased in advance at Craftadian.ca. Proof of vaccination and masks will be mandatory for all attendees.
