Hamilton Tiger-Cats are going to the Grey Cup

After a nail-biter of a match against the Toronto Argonauts this weekend, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats are advancing to the 2021 Grey Cup Championships.

It’s an especially exciting year for the Ticats to play in the Grey Cup, as this year’s match also has the distinction of being hosted right here in Hamilton at the Ticats’ own home base, Tim Hortons Field.

Sunday afternoon’s game at BMO Field represented a major comeback for the Ticats, who came out with zero points in the first half and ended the game against the Argos with an unexpectedly triumphant final score of 27-19.

The win brings the Hamilton Tiger-Cats back home to Tim Hortons Field to face the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the 108th Grey Cup Championship game on Sunday, December 12th at 6 pm; a sold-out match that’s sure to swell with the raucous pride of Hamiltonian football fans.
