One of Hamilton’s roaming pop-up vaccine clinics has switched from a walk-in to appointment-only model.
The ‘GOVAXX’ Clinic, launched all around Ontario as a mobile COVID-19 vaccine clinic on a GO Bus, is one of the numerous ways locals have been seeking out their booster shots in the face of the infectious Omicron variant.
Hop on the #GOVAXX bus for your 1st, 2nd or booster dose of a #COVID19 vaccine.#GOVAXX clinics are now by appointment only. Walk-ins will no longer be accepted.

However, extremely high demand that exceeds capacity means that droves of Hamilton residents have been lining up at these pop-up clinics, with only a relatively modest portion able to get their doses.
So, in an effort to streamline the process a bit, the Ontario Ministry of Health has announced that all GOVAXX clinics are being switched to an appointment-based model, effective immediately.
Hamilton residents who want to book their first, second, or third dose of a COVID-19 vaccine through a GOVAXX mobile clinic can do so at Ontario.ca/BookVaccine or by calling 1-833-943-3900.
