Canadian budget airline Swoop has announced the addition of some exciting new flight destinations from Hamilton.
A release from the airline explains that ultra-affordable, flights departing from John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport will soon include Punta Cana and Fort Lauderdale as destinations.
Non-stop flights from Hamilton to Fort Lauderdale are set to begin on December 16th, 2022 with one-way fares starting at $109. Flights from Hamilton to Punta Cana will kick off January 11th, 2023 with one-way fares as low as $199.

Swoop is also increasing flight frequency out of Hamilton, including more weekly flights to destinations like Las Vegas, Orlando, Cancun, and St. Pete-Clearwater.
Flights will also continue to operate from Hamilton to places in Atlantic Canada like Moncton, New Brunswick and St. John’s, Newfoundland.
“Hamilton is thrilled to have Swoop expand flight destinations and service from our city, which offers people from the entire region greater convenience and supports jobs, growth, and tourism in our community as well,” said Hamilton’s Mayor Fred Eisenberger in a statement.
“We’re excited to see Swoop continue to grow out of Hamilton’s airport for years to come.”
