Hamilton Day returns on November 5th

A one-day, city-wide celebration of all things Hamilton is making a comeback for 2022.

Hamilton Day was hosted in the city in 2021 to resurrect an event first held over 90 years ago that encouraged city residents to shop local and pour their spending money into the local economy at the height of the Great Depression.

With the COVID-19 pandemic causing its own hardships for local small businesses, organizers brought back Hamilton Day for 2021 to celebrate the city we live in and the people and businesses that help make it great.

The 2021 iteration was such a success that Hamilton Day is being brought back for 2022 by the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, with this year’s event taking place on November 5th.

As part of Hamilton Day, shops, restaurants, cafes, venues, and other small businesses around the city will be offering exclusive deals, pop-ups, and limited release product launches to commemorate the occasion.

Residents are encouraged to get out there and support all of their favourite local spots on Hamilton Day, helping to give the local economy a boost and show some extra love to the businesses that call Hamilton home.

What spots are you excited to support on Hamilton Day? Let us know in the comments!
