The Flyin G’nosh reopens at the Hamilton Farmers’ Market

Let’s imagine you’re at work and so excited for lunch you can barely focus. You have a plan: you’re gonna hustle over to the Hamilton Farmers’ Market because that’s what all the cool kids do. You have one thing on your mind: those sweet, sweet Paneer Tacos, prepared lovingly by Chef Mandip from The Flyin G’nosh.

You dash down to the Market at lunchtime and bee-line it for their stand, only to discover a large tarp covering the counter and a sign notifying guests that the beloved Indian takeaway spot is closed until further notice. Heartbroken and stomach empty, you drop to your knees and shout in hunger-tinged agony to the skies.

Or you keep it all inside because you have self-control. The point is, you’re sad.

That’s exactly what loyal patrons faced these last few months, popping by the popular stand in person or checking Instagram regularly for news of their return, lovingly leaving floods of desperate comments about their nagging cravings.

Well, Hamilton foodies need not wait any longer. As of this past weekend, The Flyin G’nosh is officially back open for business in the Hamilton Farmers’ Market.

Tucked tightly in the back corner of the Market’s lower level, the Indian street food stand is a well-loved spot for local food lovers to get their fix of aromatic classics like Chicken Tikka Masala and Chana Masala, alongside twisty favourites like Chef Mandip’s famous tacos, sandwiching flavourfully spiced Indian-style ingredients like fried paneer and tandoori chicken inside folded, warm naan bread.

So what are you waiting for? Head to the Market and treat yourself. Your taste buds will thank you.

The Flyin G’nosh is open at the Hamilton Farmers’ Market on Tuesdays and from Thursday-Saturday each week for lunch and early dinner service.
