Nino’s Ristorante has closed its doors in Hamilton

Another longstanding dining staple in downtown Hamilton has officially closed its doors.

Nino’s Ristorante, a small and humble Italian bistro neighbouring Theatre Aquarius on King William Street, has been a long-time favourite for local theatre-goers and pasta-lovers alike. Trust me: if you haven’t tried their rich and creamy rosé sauce, you haven’t lived.

While the cozy spot for casual Italian and Mediterranean eats existed for many years as sort of a hidden Hamilton gem, it scaled down its operations in recent years, primarily opening their doors for dinner service to patrons of Theatre Aquarius on performance nights, or offering catering services for outside events.

What’s next for the King William restaurant, you ask? Details on the restaurant space’s future are currently pretty thin, but hopefully, something that lives up to the quality Nino’s brought to the Hamilton food scene takes up residence. Naturally, we’ll keep you posted on updates.

Nino’s Ristorante is officially closed in Hamilton as of December 21st, 2019.
