Brothers Grimm Bistro sets a grand opening date in Hamilton

The wait is almost over for first sips and bites at Hamilton’s newest nightlife spot.

Brothers Grimm Bistro, a brand new Belgian-style cellar bistro and bar at 193 King Street East right beside lunch spot 193 Bench Kitchen, has officially announced an opening date of Thursday February 6th, one week from today. The restaurant, which sits in the former Sandbar Tavern space, is now taking reservations.

A brand new bistro promising Euro-fusion dishes paired with a finely curated selection of wines and barrel-aged beers, Brothers Grimm Bistro is poised to be a decidedly different offering for Hamilton’s wine snobs, beer nerds, and foodies alike.

The gorgeous photos of Brothers Grimm on social media are almost too enticing to bear: descending the stairs to the underground cellar, guests will find a cozy, dimly-lit space with decorative towers of wine barrels lining rough stone walls which ride up to a softly-curved ceiling of old brick. Woodgrain accents complete the picture for this stunning, lived-in, old-world aesthetic.

With a long list of libations and transporting décor, it’s hard not to get excited about Brothers Grimm Bistro. Snatch those first reservations up while you can, Hamilton!

Brothers Grimm Bistro is located at 193 King Street East, and will be open for service as of Thursday, February 6th.
