Paramount Fine Foods is preparing free meals to those in need during COVID-19

While the outbreak of COVID-19 has put many of Hamilton’s restaurants, bars, and cafes in states of uncertainty, many business owners are taking this unprecedented opportunity to find ways of reaching out to the community during these difficult times.

That’s certainly what Paramount Fine Foods on the Hamilton Mountain is doing. The restaurant franchise, known for serving up elevated Middle Eastern and Lebanese cuisine, is using their Upper James location to help out those in need.

Basil AlKubaisi, owner of Paramount’s Hamilton location at 1441 Upper James Street, says that the restaurant will happily prepare free meals for Hamiltonians experiencing food and financial insecurity during the COVID-19 crisis.

This amazingly generous gesture is sure to make a difference for some in the community, particularly as many Hamiltonians are facing temporary work layoffs without pay and experiencing sudden financial precarity in the midst of these uncertain times.

To order food from Paramount Fine Foods, patrons are encouraged to phone the restaurant directly at 905-385-2222. Paramount is, naturally, temporarily closed for dine-in but remains open for pick-up.
