The Dirty South Restaurant has opened at Barton and James North

Just because we’re all self-isolating, doesn’t mean we have to deprive ourselves of delicious local food, right?

Hamiltonian food truck staple The Dirty South, known for serving up elevated-yet-humble takes on Southern comfort food, has just opened a permanent brick & mortar location at Barton and James North.

Originally fired up in 2012, The Dirty South has been a food truck favourite at countless festivals and gatherings in Hamilton and beyond for years. The new brick & mortar location means that hungry Hamiltonians will always have a reliable place to go to satisfy those Southern cravings.

The new restaurant, located inside the former home of The Barton General, sports a menu made up of well-loved classics from the original food truck, as well as brand new creations and the option for a fully-customizable dish that lets foodies pick a protein, vessel, cheese, sauce, and various toppings.

Not the carnivorous type? You’re still in luck! The Dirty South has made sure their menu has delicious options for all dietary restrictions, including vegetarian, vegan, keto, and gluten-free.

Now, while the COVID-19 outbreak has forced all sit-down restaurants to close temporarily, that’s not stopping The Dirty South from feeding the Hamilton masses. The restaurant is offering free local delivery of their dishes, as well as curbside pick-up for takeaway orders.

It’s tough out there for the food industry right now, so make sure you show local restaurants like The Dirty South some major love!

The Dirty South Restaurant is open now at 10 Barton Street East in Hamilton, exclusively for takeaway and delivery until further notice.
