New fried chicken spot Pappy’s has opened in Hamilton

If you’re craving a fried chicken fix that goes beyond your typical blasé bucket of KFC, a new addition to Hamilton’s food scene is sure to hit the spot.

A spinoff of scrumptious Southern staple Saltlick Smokehouse, Pappy’s Fried Chicken has arrived to kick no-nonsense New Orleans-style fried chicken up a notch.

Though a physical location for Pappy’s Fried Chicken is set to open on Barton Street East in the near future, they’re currently filling orders every Monday only out of Saltlick Smokehouse’s storefront on James Street North.

Pappy’s mouth-watering Instagram feed shows off a lot of what local foodies can expect, including full buckets of fried chicken, fried chicken sandwiches, waffle fries, mac & cheese, homemade biscuits, and house pickles and slaws; in other words, everything you need to make Monday the best day of the week.

Demand for Pappy’s Fried Chicken has already been high among hungry Hamiltonians, who have been routinely selling the joint out entirely each Monday; in fact, this coming Monday May 18th is already sold out as well!

To stay up-to-date and get those orders in for future rounds, follow Pappy’s Fried Chicken on social media.
