One of Hamilton’s hottest music venues has found a delicious way of keeping some business going during the COVID-19 shutdowns.
The Casbah, an enduring gem of Hamilton’s indie music scene, is one of many performance spaces in the city that is facing a great deal of uncertainty as a result of this pandemic.

With emergency orders strictly prohibiting large gatherings and the sobering fact that live entertainment will be among the last industries to return to normal, Hamilton’s venues are reckoning with revenue streams that are limited at best or nonexistent at worst.
As a result, many performance spaces are now forced to find fresh ways of connecting with the public and staying afloat while their doors are shuttered indefinitely from public access.
The Casbah has found its own creative pivot, as it has partnered with Hamilton’s own Sensational Samosa to provide combos of those famous samosas and other snacks accompanied by selections of craft beer and wine.
The deliciousness will be available to order on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between 4 pm and 9 pm. With packages ranging from $15 up to $40, all of the orders will directly support this beloved Hamilton venue and help it keep its head above water until it is once again able to open its doors to local audiences.
Check it out and place your orders on The Casbah’s website.
