Osten Beerhall has reopened with a brand new takeout menu

Hamilton’s new – and well loved – European-style beer hall has reopened amid the COVID-19 pandemic with a reimagined menu strictly for takeout.

Nestled in the city’s east end right beside the iconic Shorty’s Pizza in the Crown Point neighbourhood, Osten Beerhall is a recent addition to Hamilton’s food scene that has already earned a reputation for not just its enticingly well-curated list of local and international beer, but also its hearty menu of Euro-fusion small bites and entrees.

Though Osten’s gorgeous atmosphere can’t be enjoyed for a while longer during this current crisis, the restaurant and bar is pivoting their operations by offering a reimagined menu specifically built for curb-side pickup.

The takeout menu features simple and sturdy fare, with some of Osten’s more compact favourites like their Royale Burger with Cheese, fried bologna sandwich, and smoked brisket plate with house sauerkraut and rye bread. A selection of salads, sides, and snacks is also available, and of course, a comprehensive list of local and international craft beer in cans or bottles as well.

In short, there’s pretty much something for every palate on offer at Osten Beerhall right now, so place those orders and fill those bellies, Hamilton!

Osten Beerhall is open for curbside pickup and takeout Wednesday through Sunday from 5 pm to 9 pm. Check out their menu and order on their website.
