New Italian takeaway spot Mamma Rossa has opened in Hamilton

Do you love pasta? Of course you do; and that probably means you’ll be excited about a new Italian takeaway joint that has freshly set up shop in Hamilton.
That spot is Mamma Rossa Italian Kitchen, a new place for your carb-loaded comfort food fix, sporting a compact menu of mouth-watering pastas, salads, and Italian-style desserts for takeaway only.
So where exactly is this place? Well, Mamma Rossa is actually an extension of local restaurant group Equal Parts Hospitality; the same folks behind popular Hamilton staples like The French, The Diplomat, and Aberdeen Tavern.
In fact, Mamma Rossa Italian Kitchen is currently operating out of the kitchen at Aberdeen Tavern, with their dishes available exclusively for pickup or delivery through UberEats.
What are those dishes, you ask? Mamma Rossa seems to put emphasis on simple – but high quality – Italian comfort food staples, from Spaghetti Alfredo with double-smoked bacon, to Pappardelle Bolognese, to a tempting Three Cheese Lasagna.
If you have a sweet tooth, save room for dessert, too: Mamma Rossa also offers fresh cannoli and tiramisu for a perfect finale.
Will Mamma Rossa Italian Kitchen eventually morph into its own full standalone restaurant? Only time will tell. But for now, jump on UberEats and grab those first sumptuous tastes, Hamilton!
