New restaurant Hangry Chicken has opened in Hamilton

Heads up, chicken lovers of Hamilton: a new spot for Piri Piri deliciousness has opened its doors in the city if you’re craving something beyond the standard Nando’s fare.
That spot is Hangry Chicken, which has just opened a new location on South Service Road in Stoney Creek to follow the success of its existing Burlington restaurant.
Offering jacked-up takes on traditional Portuguese Piri Piri dishes, Hangry Chicken has a menu loaded with salads, wings, sandwiches, tacos, and dinner plates that offer a diverse range of vessels for that delicious Piri Piri chicken.
Highlights of the menu include the Piri Piri Tacos, which sees pulled chicken topped with slaw, pickled onions, lemon crema, and herbs on a flour tortilla; the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich, with a hunk of buttermilk fried chicken drenched in Piri Piri hot honey sauce, pickles, arugula, and ranch dressing; and the Piri Piri Poutine, which is a chicken-less way to enjoy that Piri Piri flavour in poutine form.
