Emerald Coffee has reopened under new ownership

Caffeine fiends should be exciting to find out that one of Hamilton’s most popular independent coffee shops has reopened to the public under brand-new ownership.

Emerald Coffee Co, located in the bustling Barton Village, quickly cemented itself as one of the city’s best spots for exceptional coffee, espresso, and small café-style bites.

However, the coffee shop closed up temporarily when the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic hit the city, with the original owners announcing back in July that they had made the decision to pass the business off to brand new ownership and move on to different projects.

Now, Emerald Coffee has finally reopened its doors to the Hamilton masses; and thankfully, everything locals loved about Emerald Coffee has remained intact with some exciting new additions in place as well!

One especially exciting new thing at the revamped Emerald Coffee is a stacked menu of enticing breakfast and lunch bites including sandwiches, wraps, salads, and soups.

Highlights of Emerald’s edible offerings include a BLT with honey & white pepper glazed bacon, a Mediterranean artichoke wrap inspired by Greek cuisine, and the Emerald House Salad with mixed greens, spring onions, mixed nuts, goat cheese, and dried fruit.

Eager to check it out? Go get your fix at Emerald Coffee for takeaway only Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm, or Saturdays and Sundays between 8 am and 3 pm!
