Capitol Restaurant has opened its doors in Hamilton

Feeling hungry? You’re in luck! A new restaurant serving up tons of tantalizing, traditional fare with a twist has opened in Hamilton and is ready to help you fill that belly.
That new spot is Capitol Restaurant, open at 92 Jackson Street East in the former home of Italian bistro Claudio’s Ristorante, which itself is planning a move to bustling James North in the coming months.

Not to be confused with the Capitol Bar on King Street East, Capitol Restaurant offers “a blend of dishes you love with an elevated modern twist,” according to their social media.
The restaurant teases enticing eats like a bacon, onion, & mushroom poutine; classic pizzas such as a straightforward pepperoni or Margherita pizza; and a 7oz steak burger smothered with gravy, mozzarella, and crispy onions.
Clearly taking inspiration from a number of different world cuisines, the Capitol Restaurant looks like the perfect place to get your favourite comfort foods with quality ingredients and a couple of tempting twists here and there for good measure.
They’re available for delivery on Skip the Dishes, DoorDash, and Uber Eats, so give ‘em a try, Hamilton!
