Italian restaurant Caro has opened its second location on James North

Caro, one of Hamilton’s favourite restaurants for modern Italian cuisine, just got doubly delicious as it officially opened its new sister location on James Street North.
With its original restaurant located at the corner of Main Street East and Ottawa Street North, Caro is a newer entry into Hamilton’s brimming Italian food scene, especially compared to the city’s enduring old school mainstays.
However, Caro quickly proved that it can hold its own against some of city’s best with its modern menu of elevated pastas, pizzas, brunch dishes, and beyond.
The popularity has now taken Caro to the famous food scene of James North, where it has opened its second location at 229 James Street North in the space that most recently held Marina & Shaolin.
After a soft opening over the weekend where Caro’s new location served up its dinner menu, the restaurant will officially be open for regular hours – the same as their Ottawa Street location – as of this Tuesday!
Local foodies can expect all of the same deliciousness of the OG location at the brand new Caro on James. Go check ‘em out and welcome them to the neighbourhood, Hamilton!
