A new takeaway sushi spot is opening soon on Locke Street

If a good sushi roll really gets you going, a new spot soon to open on Locke Street is probably going to become your new favourite thing.

Filling the gap of a shortage of good sushi options in that part of Hamilton, a new takeaway sushi restaurant called Sushi Azuki has announced their plans to take up residence in the former storefront location of Ka’kau Chocolate Company at 184 Locke Street South.

Sushi Azuki will be joining an already bustling food scene on Locke Street, which features favourites like The Burnt Tongue, Brux House, and Democracy*.

Local foodies can surely expect a variety of fresh handmade sushi rolls, sashimi, maki, and more coming out of this new independent Japanese spot, which has yet to announce a formal opening date.

As takeaway options grow in popular amid the limits of the pandemic, Sushi Azuki is sure to be enthusiastically embraced by Hamilton’s food lovers upon its eventual opening!
