Residents of Stoney Creek who crave the Italian eats on offer at Industria Pizzeria + Bar will no longer have to ride down to the lower city for their fix, as the popular restaurant is getting ready to open the doors on a new location a little closer to home!
Building on the success of its first Hamilton location – which is open on John South in the former home of Tailgate Charlie’s – Industria Pizzeria + Bar recently opened another restaurant in Burlington and has also been working away at preparing a new location in Stoney Creek at 1791 Stone Church Road East, right across the way from the Cineplex Cinemas Hamilton Mountain location.

Though the restaurant’s progress was undoubtedly delayed a bit due to the pandemic, some recent action on Industria’s social media strongly suggests the restaurant is on its way to opening its doors soon; even if it’s just for takeout for the time being.
Specializing in modern, twisty takes on rustic Italian dishes, Industria has become known for its sumptuous pastas like the Gnocchi Pomodoro or Cavatelli Telefono, as well as a range of enticing Neapolitan-style pizzas.
Some of the pizzas are dressed with more traditional toppings, and some are a little more unusual such as the eponymous Industria Pizza, which attempts to capture a McDonald’s Big Mac in pie form with beef, yellow cheddar, onions, iceberg lettuce, pickles, sesame seeds, and a special sauce.
It appears that the Stoney Creek location of Industria Pizzeria + Bar will feature everything locals love about the John South restaurant, so follow along on their Instagram for further updates!
