Ice cream bus Crazy Cravings is opening a storefront in Hamilton

An iconic Hamilton food truck that serves ice cream curb-side out of an old repurposed city bus is about to open its own brick & mortar location in the city.

Crazy Cravings, a nomadic purveyor of sweet and creamy deliciousness that spends its summers roaming the Hamilton area, recently announced via their Instagram that they plan to open more permanent digs locally, with a forthcoming storefront in Ancaster at 1654 Wilson Street West; not far from the Ancaster Fairgrounds.

“We will be carrying the same fantastic ice cream as our food trucks and so many more yummy treats,” reads the announcement from Crazy Cravings on social media.

The ice cream parlour, opening in addition to Crazy Cravings’ roaming operations, will serve up a wide and varied selection of flavours courtesy of the Kawartha Dairy Company with an even wider range of toppings to choose from including gummies, chocolate bits, fruit, sauces, sprinkles, and more.

Though a hard opening date has yet to be announced, Crazy Cravings has expressed that they’re hoping the storefront location can be open for takeout sometime between the end of March and beginning of April!
