Vegan restaurant B. Love Conscious Eatery is closing its doors in Dundas

One of numerous local restaurants to shutter amid the COVID-19 pandemic, a popular Dundas vegan restaurant has announced that is has closed its doors.

B. Love Conscious Eatery, located on the main Downtown Dundas strip and serving up all kinds of delicious plant-based comforts, shared their plans to close the 29 King West storefront at the end of February after operating for takeout and curb-side pickup through much of the pandemic.

“With love and mixed feelings, I will be closing my restaurant’s doors at the end of this month and reducing inventory and equipment, etc. for the foreseeable future,” reads a message on B. Love’s website.

The news was met with an outpouring of bittersweet well-wishes from B. Love’s devoted customer base on social media, who are sad to see this vegan staple close up shop.

That said, it doesn’t seem to be the total end for B. Love Conscious Eatery. The food spot’s owner, Barbara Maccaroni, has expressed that B. Love is in a state of transition; though immediate plans for the future have not yet been revealed.
