Greek Palace is reopening in a new spot on the Hamilton Mountain

Souvlaki stans, rejoice! One of Hamilton’s most beloved spots for Greek comfort food has announced it is reopening in a brand new location on the Hamilton Mountain.

Greek Palace, which was previously located by the corner of John Street North and King William, has long been one of the city’s favourite places to pick up classic Greek eats such as souvlaki platters, pitas, gyros, salads, and more.

However, the restaurant has faced some tumultuous times in the past year through not just the impacts of the pandemic, but also through having to repeatedly close up their storefront due to prohibitive ongoing construction on John Street North.

Frustrations eventually led Greek Palace to close up their previous location entirely and set out on a search for a new location elsewhere in the city.

Luckily for us, Greek Palace has just announced that they have officially found new digs and will be making the move very soon!

The restaurant posted the news to their social media, explaining that progress on opening a new yet-to-be-announced location on the Hamilton Mountain is steadily underway, and local foodies will be able to get their fix again in the not too distant future.

Locals can follow Greek Palace on Instagram to be the first to know when the brand new location flings open its doors and fires up the grills.
