New sandwich shop That’s My Jam opens today in Hamilton

At long last, one of Hamilton’s hotly anticipated new foodie spots has flung open its doors and is officially open for business.

That’s My Jam, now open on King William Street as part of Restaurant Row, is an eye-catching new addition to the city’s food scene, blending colourful hip-hop vibes and local arts advocacy with a menu of seriously drool-worthy sandwiches.

What makes That’s My Jam a little different from other sandwich spots in the city is that much of the menu consciously and thoughtfully blends savoury and sweet flavours between that bread, blending meats and cheeses with house-made fruit jams, compotes, and sauces.

Some enticing examples include their pulled pork sandwich topped with crispy onions, barbeque sauce, and cherry compote; the ham & cheese sandwich with pineapple; and the marinated chicken sandwich with avocado, blistered cherry tomatoes, baby arugula, and bacon jam.

But there’s plenty more where that came from at That’s My Jam, which has been teasing the menu for months on their playful Instagram feed.

Now that opening day is finally here, go grab some takeout and get those first bites!

That’s My Jam is open now for takeaway only at 51 King William Street. Follow them on social media for more.
