This new Indian restaurant just opened in Hamilton

Hamilton has a wealth of great options for authentic Indian cuisine; and a brand new restaurant that just opened in Dundas is joining the list.

Maurya Indian Restaurant has officially opened its doors at 246 Governors Road in Dundas, setting up shop in a space that has held numerous food ventures in the past including the classic Renaissance, The Governor Restaurant, and a Montfort location.

A family-owned establishment that blends traditional spices and techniques with modern takes on Indian cuisine, Maurya is bringing 15 years of culinary experience to Dundas, following up successful locations in Toronto, Etobicoke, and Oakville.

Classic Indian dishes, modern fare, and fusion offerings adorn the stacked menu, with options for every food lover from vegan to carnivore.

Flavour-packed chicken, lamb, seafood, and vegetable dishes are accompanied by biryani, curries, samosas, and beyond, with some unique and playful offerings like masala fries, butter chicken nachos, and lamb korma poutine sprinkled in for good measure.

If your mouth isn’t already watering, you probably need to hydrate. Check out the brand new Maurya Indian Restaurant at 246 Governors Road in Dundas to get your first tastes!
